The cooks here have good culinary sense. The atmosphere is lively and comfortable and the servers are affable. The ingredient combinations are truly wonderful, from the pork and apple to the butternut squash and Mole sauce. We will be back.

My husband and I both love this restaurant, the food is delicious. We recently ate dinner there for the 4th time, we loved our meal (especially the scallops and pork belly)..the only dish we didn’t care for was the short rib with gnocchi special. The gnocchi texture was very off, it was too dense, not pillow like and the short rib was fine, but dry. If you eat here we highly recommend the tuna tacos!!!, crab fritters, scallops, oysters and pork belly, steak or any dessert.

Amazing food. Hidden gem. Great date night dinner. We visit Monterey Bay Area annually for decades and try new restaurants each year. Trestles is phenomenal and we were so pleasantly surprised how good the food was — it’s a small enough place that can keep tight control over their food quality and staff. Amazing tastes, variety, attentive and friendly employees. Loved the limited menu delicious food that is thoughtfully made. Everything is cooked in open kitchen. Great wine selections as well and the wine “cocktails” were also fun — loved the Wine take on a Moscow Mule. Will be coming back for sure.

Very impressive first outing. Great wine selection, including one of my favorite rose sparklers. One of the tastiest steak preparations I’ve had in quite some time, and all the small plates were equally great. They definitely need to expand the dessert menu, can’t say the single offering, brownie à la mode, was better than just fine. Will definitely be coming back soon! Update 3/2024. As good as last time. Example dish, a pork belly appetizer. Now granted pork belly is always pretty good, but it is rarely excellent both in unctuousness and flavors and combinations. This was the latter. Excellent multiple mushroom preparation gnocchi Parisienne. Still highly recommend

We first visited Trestles last year and we felt in love with their food. For our anniversary this year, we decided to go back. It was a great experience, as always. We had the ahi tuna poke as an appetizer, and it was just marvelous. For our entrees, we both had the market fish, and that day it was scallops. IT WAS DIVINE! We added the butter lettuce salad as a side and it was a perfect combination. Lovely staff, beautiful ambiance. Cannot wait to come back!!

Wanted to try this place out for some time and finally had the opportunity to do so. Keeping it short bc there is not much to say other than this place has excellent food (great quality), excellent service (forgot our waitress’ name but she was really cute), and great drinks given they do not have hard alcohol. I got their version of a margarita which was made out of wine I believe. All of us agreed our entrees were delish. I had the porkchop, our friend had the steak, and my hubby had the salmon, although he originally ordered the halibut, but they were out. They offered just one dessert, but it was simple and delish. I mean who doesn’t like ice cream over a perfectly baked brownie. Loved everything about this place and would visit again. Side note: we walked from our condo, but parking looks like it could be a challenge. All worth it though; food was really good and service above and beyond.

One of the nicest restaurants in Capitola. Reservations recommended....we had quite a wait for one of the little nonreserved seatings outside, but just spent the time walking around the little town. They texted when a table was ready. Kind of a limited menu but the food was amazing. I had the gnocchi and the kids had the pork chops and the steak dishes. So good. Wait staff spot on. We followed it up with dessert at the Polar Bear Ice Cream shop down the way. It was the perfect evening.
